Connect Other Accounts
This is where Twintual actually becomes useful — by connecting the messaging and email apps you already use, Twintual can read incoming messages and draft replies on your behalf.
The Connect Accounts screen splits platforms into two clear sections: Available Platforms (live and ready to connect) and Coming Soon (on the roadmap but not yet active).
Available platforms
Three options are live today. Tap a platform below for full step-by-step authentication instructions:
- Outlook — Microsoft personal and work accounts via Microsoft OAuth
- Gmail — Google personal and Workspace accounts via Google OAuth
- Custom Email (IMAP/SMTP) — Any other email provider (work email, custom domain, Zoho, Fastmail, ProtonMail, iCloud, and more) via standard IMAP and SMTP protocols
You can connect multiple accounts on the same platform (for example, a personal Gmail and a work Gmail) by tapping Connect More on a platform that's already linked.
Coming soon
The following platforms are on the roadmap. The Coming soon label is shown next to each, and the button is disabled until support ships:
Instagram, Slack, Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
What to do
Connect at least one platform (Outlook, Gmail, or a Custom Email) to start using Twintual. You can always come back to this screen later to add more accounts as they leave the Coming Soon list.
Next step
After connecting at least one account, continue to Tone Setup to teach Twintual how you communicate.
